Publishing Policy

Our policy is to publish short briefings based on the practical business aspects of intellectual property defined in its broadest sense and how it actually operates in the real world of business and creative industries.

We make no charges for this information and distribute it freely via the web to help promote and protect creative ideas and to prevent inventors, creative people, publishers, etc losing the benefits and fruits of their labour.
Creative notes are intended to be an educational medium to help inform the public about their IP rights and prevent the abuse of other’s IP rights.

Our information is researched from a variety of sources and is mainly defined as generic material that is freely available within the public domain and as such we do not acknowledge all the original sources.
Where we have been inspired by or used a single or group of sources as the main basis of a briefing then the source is always acknowledged and/or permission sought to include the material in our briefing.
